What is arrivalnews, and who reads it?

ArrivalNews is a newspaper which is released on a monthly basis. It is produced by ArrivalAid, a non-profit organisation working with refugees and asylum seekers in Germany.

ArrivalNews is written in “easy” and accessible German, and is primarily intended for refugees in Germany, expats, international students, language learners and many more. Each edition is written in such a way that the reader can easily understand and engage with current affairs in Germany, written in German.

ArrivalNews is released monthly in various editions: our national edition is well-read across the whole of Germany, but we also offer regional editions for the cities and surrounding areas of Munich, Stuttgart, Cologne, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt am Main, and Hamburg.

Each month we print roughly 20,000 copies of ArrivalNews. These copies are then sent out to private individuals, universities, social and public institutions, libraries, specially-selected cafes, international businesses and many easily-accessible public spaces. We print according to the demand of our readers.
